Primož Vidovič – vocal | Tangostory


Primož Vidovič has a bachelor degree in Psychology however he started his music career at the age of 7 at theKarolPahorMusicSchoolin Ptuj, where he learned the trumpet and percussions. He started his singing career in various choir ensembles and continued in the men-only vocal group Ptuj Nonet with which he recorded two albums and also performed inAustria,Italy,CroatiaandArgentina.

For a few years he also co-operated as a full- and part-time member of the opera choir at SNG Maribor, with which he staged numerous operas and visitedItaly,Croatia,Japan andSingapore.

While actively engaged in singing he also perfected his knowledge at the music school with Professor Biserka Petkovič and Professor Samo Ivačič, and at several workshops and seminars for classical singing in Slovenia (Professor Saška Kolarič, Professor Olga Gracelj) and in Italy (professor Brigitta Maya Pico in Rome, Donata d`Annunzio Lombardi in Geneva) and from the popular jazz singing (Lela Kaplowitz from Croatia and Nataša Nahtigal in Slovenia). Currently he is perfecting his singing with Professor Alenka Drnač Bunta at theAcademyofMusicinLjubljana.

As a soloist he performed at various concerts, festivals and shows: Concert of promising young singers, Festival Lent,Maribor; Mattheus Passion by J.S. Bach under the leadership of the maestro Vladimir Kranjčević; concert from the cycle »Around the Piano« inAthensand others.
